ISLAMABAD: The interim bail of Additional District and Session Judge Raja Khurram Ali and his wife Maheen Zafar has been extended till February 10 in the child
maid torture case.
The Tayyaba torture case came up for hearing before the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
The main accused in the case, Raja Khurram Ali, appeared in the court in connection with the gra
nting of interim bail.
Additio
nal Session Judge Raja Asif put forth the question about why Tayyaba was not presented before the court.
The counsel for the accused said that Tayyaba is in state’s custo
dy as the Supreme Court has not given the custody of the child to anyone, therefore, she could not be presented before the court.
The court directed that Tayyaba and her pa
rents appear on the next hearing.
